Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert. * Support continuous improvement of products and processes by leading the design, development, fabrication, testing, evaluation, and implementation of new concepts and technology. * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. * Support the Team Lead and work statement, assist in defining strategies and/or provide consultation. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * 5+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems (e.g., computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer-aided three-dimensional interactive (CATIA), Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics). * ASNT Level 2 in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation testing methods * Ability to travel 10% of the time minimum Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * 5+ years of hands-on experience in NDE/NDT engineering in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, energy). * Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection) * ASNT Level 2 in multiple nondestructive evaluation processes (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection) * Experience working in multi-discipline teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical customers. * Strong understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics. * Experience with project management tools * Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations. * Active / Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance preferred but not required.
