Job description
We are hiring a college grad for a SharePoint Online Junior Engineer to primarily enhance SharePoint Online modern pages. This role is hands-on with page reliability, web part configuration, content surface patterns, and lightweight troubleshooting. The position is intentionally designed as a feeder path into SPFx and modern web development through progressive ownership, mentorship, and increasing technical scope.
What you will do at Sogeti:
-Build, fix, and maintain SharePoint Online modern pages with a focus on usability, consistency, and operational stability
-Diagnose and resolve common page issues (layout, broken links, web part behavior, navigation, content rendering)
-Configure and optimize out-of-the-box web parts (Hero, Quick Links, Highlighted Content, List, Document Library, Embed, etc.)
-Implement repeatable page patterns using Lists/Libraries and metadata-driven content surfacing
-Apply governance and engineering standards for accessibility, branding, information architecture, and lifecycle management
-Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into page implementations with clear acceptance criteria
-Document changes, patterns, and runbooks to improve supportability and reduce rework
-Identify opportunities for automation or standardization and escalate higher complexity needs to senior engineers
Requirements
Practical experience editing and supporting html pages (SharePoint Online modern pages experience preferred)
-Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Lists/Libraries)
-Basic understanding of web fundamentals (DOM concepts, HTML/CSS basics) and troubleshooting mindset
-Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and disciplined documentation habits
-Comfort operating in a ticketed or backlog-driven workflow and meetings Las/commitments

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
