Job description

Inviting applications for the role of Director - Data & AI Retail In this role you will be responsible to work alongside a specialized group of sellers to grow Data & AI business across new and existing clients. This includes client relationship management identifying opportunities to grow data & AI services support sales enablement conceptualizing data & AI solutions and execution plan for our clients. You will function as an Assistant Vice President for Data & AI practice and liaise with global solutions and delivery team solutions design client presentations and solution delivery. This is a specialized high impact role requiring deep experience within the Retail Industry combined with Data & AI expertise. You will be working as trusted advisor to C-suite and key decision makers across our retail portfolio You will be expected to have deep experience within the Retail industry and pain points and know how to solve these using Data AI and technology. Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all Data & AI deals for the assigned Accounts.
  • Work with the broader sales Advisory & Account teams for developing strategy to grow Data & AI footprint across offerings collaborate with solutions and delivery to come up with plan that meet the business needs of clients
  • Responsible for Data & AI Client Relationship management for Flagship Retail accounts grow the book of business partner with sales and account management team to take up data & AI offerings for clients
  • Work in partnership with sales teams to develop and design Data & AI based solutions to solve business problems across the Retail value chain
  • Proactively create identify and develop opportunities for Gen AI/AI solutions.
  • Provide domain and digital solution expertise and support to internal teams including participation in RFI RFP proactive bids customer-facing envisioning sessions/demonstrations assessments and workshops.
  • Collaborate with other cross functionals Genpacts team to assess and scope new opportunities (Analytics Tech Experience Digital delivery etc.)
  • Own revenue and bookings targets for dedicated Data AI industry segment and maintain up to date revenue forecasts
  • Own delivery estimations solutioning and pricing for proposed client solutions and working closely with Genpact and client is legal in the creation and review of customer commercial agreements License SOW Change requests etc.
  • Partner with assigned sales team to create the ideal winning proposal and execute on all presentations submissions team creation and related internal approval processes
  • Identify opportunities around new technologies and scalable data opportunities to set-up large Data & AI engagements
  • Manage client engagements in Data & AI recruiting talent in local market proposal writing
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the Data & AI space including machine learning artificial intelligence Agentic AI.
  • Partner with Service Lines such as Procurement Supply chain Finance and Digital teams to ensure meaningful business opportunity is identified developed and delivered as per client business requirements

Requirements
