Job description

The Junior Test Engineer supports the GCCS J modernization team by executing test cases, documenting results, assisting with automation, and learning system workflows under senior guidance. Key Responsibilities Area Responsibilities Test Execution * Execute manual test cases. * Validate basic system functionality. Documentation * Record test results. * Log defects and track fixes. Automation Support * Assist in developing automated tests. * Maintain simple scripts. Agile Participation * Attend Sprint ceremonies. * Support acceptance criteria validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM.
  • 0-2 years of testing experience.
  • Familiarity with software testing concepts.
  • Basic scripting or automation exposure.
  • Active Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to DoD systems or C2 environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX.
  • Understanding of APIs or microservices. Desired Competencies
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
