Job description
We are seeking an experienced Expert Integration Engineer with deep expertise in the integration and deployment of spectral exploitation tools supporting advanced imagery and spectral analysis missions. This role is critical to establishing and maintaining a spectral exploitation environment used by Image Scientists to process, analyze, and exploit both literal and non-literal data. The selected candidate will lead engineering and deployment efforts for a spectral exploitation environment and ensure seamless integration across the broader NSG TCPED Enterprise. This position requires close collaboration with systems engineers, image scientists, and software developers to deliver interoperable, end-to-end mission solutions while maintaining the integrity of a complex system-of-systems enterprise., SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & ENGINEERING
- Lead the establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation supporting advanced tradecraft capabilities for Image Scientists.
- Perform systems integration activities across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Ensure interoperability between applications, systems, and enterprise architectures to support mission objectives.
- Integrate spectral data into spectral exploitation tools and workflows.
TECHNICAL STRATEGY & MISSION SUPPORT
- Provide expert technical guidance to the Government on vision, strategy, planning, requirements, and capability development.
- Support the translation of mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements.
- Assist with strategic technical planning, interface design, performance engineering, and risk management activities.
- Support project management initiatives and enterprise-level integration efforts.
REQUIREMENTS & PROCESS ANALYSIS
- Assist with planning and analysis of user requirements, architecture traceability, operational procedures, and workflow improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate or optimize existing processes and scheduling limitations.
- Support systems engineering lifecycle activities and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical engineering?, * 18+ years' of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field.
- Additional experience may be substituted for education: o 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree o 2 additional years of experience with a non-STEM degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large, complex System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments across cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
- Minimum of 5 years of NGA program/project experience.
- Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools.
- Experience integrating solutions using cloud-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI eligibility and pass a polygraph., * Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field.
- INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
- Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture.
- Experience integrating NGA/ATS advanced tradecraft tools, including:
- Data Transformation Services
- Full Spectrum Tool Kit
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Photogrammetry
- Remote sensing
- Image science
- Information sciences
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Geomatics or related disciplines
- Experience integrating Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies into enterprise solutions.

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
