The Senior Software Engineer on the Core Experiences Team plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining foundational services and SDKs that support the product experience across multiple platforms. This position involves working where product development meets infrastructure, focusing on delivering clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that enhance user experience. The role is essential for driving improvements in efficiency, functionality, and cross-platform integration.
- Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and optimize development cycles for faster customer feedback

Navigate integration and user experience tradeoffs across different product teams

Deliver solutions through a cross-platform SDK

Optimize existing features to improve performance and parsing via efficient abstractions and algorithms
Requirements

Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity

Ability to work quickly and make informed decisions on prioritizing features for delivery

Capacity to focus and manage engagement effectively in a high-growth, remote startup environment

Excellent collaboration skills to work with designers, marketers, and product managers

Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience acceptable but Kotlin Multiplatform preferred

Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
Benefits & conditions
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The United States based salary range for this role is 140,000 to 200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience
