Job description
You will work closely with site operations, customer-facing teams, technical partners, compliance, and security stakeholders to help maintain consistent operational workflows and timely response to facility-related events. This role is an individual contributor position focused on strong operational execution, process discipline, and effective coordination in a high-availability environment. The source role emphasizes centralized alarm monitoring, incident support, maintenance coordination, service request management, change/process support, and cross-regional collaboration., * Monitor facility alarms, environmental conditions, and operational events using BMS, ticketing systems, and centralized monitoring tools.
- Respond to critical alarms in accordance with established escalation procedures and coordinate with site teams and customer-facing teams as needed.
- Support incident management workflows, including bridge support, communication updates, and operational logging during active events.
- Track scheduled maintenance activities and support communication and coordination for planned changes, service impacts, and maintenance windows.
- Validate start and stop of planned work activities and confirm completion documentation where applicable.
- Support service request, work order, and change request processes by ensuring tickets are acknowledged, routed, tracked, and escalated appropriately.
- Maintain accurate logs of alarms, incidents, service requests, and maintenance activities to support operational visibility and compliance.
- Participate in ongoing improvement of alarm management, communication workflows, change controls, and incident coordination processes.
- Support problem management by contributing to RCA follow-up, corrective action tracking, and operational trend review.
- Collect and review metrics related to ticket volume, work effort, alarms, or response trends to help identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with site operations, customer experience, compliance, security, and technical teams to support effective centralized operational coordination.
- Act as a liaison between site operations and centralized teams for facilities-related issues, ensuring timely updates and accurate routing for resolution.
- Help ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, escalation standards, and operational process expectations., Global impact at scale: Contribute directly to how mission-critical OCI data centers operate across regions and continents, influencing infrastructure reliability, security, sustainability, and long-term capacity growth.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in data center operations, facilities operations, critical environment operations, service operations, centralized monitoring, or related fields.
- Experience supporting incident management, ticketing workflows, change processes, alarm monitoring, or maintenance coordination in an operational environment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility support systems in uptime-sensitive environments.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and communicating across teams during time-sensitive operational events.
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience also valued.
Preferred Skills / Certifications
- Experience with BMS, ServiceNow, CMMS, or similar monitoring and workflow platforms.
- Familiarity with incident management, change management, service request governance, and SLA-driven support models.
- Exposure to hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, NOCs, OMCs, or other centralized operations environments is a plus.
- ITIL, Uptime Institute, PMP, or related operations/process certifications are a plus.
- Experience with customer communications or bridge coordination during incidents is a plus.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
This role supports mission-critical 24/7 operations and requires regular attendance, schedule flexibility, and disciplined response to operational events. The role may involve extended monitoring activity, cross-functional coordination during incidents, and occasional site engagement. You must be able to work safely and effectively in office and active site environments, with or without reasonable accommodation. The source role is also structured around centralized support of multiple hyperscale campuses and emphasizes process rigor in high-availability operations.
Benefits & conditions
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
