In this highly technical role, you will take ownership of SMT programming, line optimization, and production performance across advanced PCB assembly operations. You will develop and maintain SMT placement programs and troubleshoot machine performance issues to maximize throughput, quality, and equipment efficiency.

You will work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support New Product Introductions (NPI), process improvements, and ongoing manufacturing optimization projects. The role offers the opportunity to become the go-to technical expert for SMT programming within a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

This role would suit an SMT Programmer looking to join a growing and technically advanced business where they can play a critical role in driving manufacturing performance and efficiency.

The Role:

  • Develop and maintain SMT placement programs for complex PCB assemblies

  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve throughput, efficiency, and OEE

  • Troubleshoot placement errors, vision systems, machine calibration, and production issues

  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams

  • SMT Programmer

  • Experience programming SMT platforms

  • Background within SMT, PCB, PCBA, or electronics manufacturing
