Job description

The full-stack developer will support the continued evolution of the StrataWorks platform by implementing new features, maintaining the production environment, and resolving software issues. This role will work closely with product management and engineering leadership to translate requirements into functional software enhancements.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, operationally reliable, and comfortable executing work with minimal supervision.

Optional Expanded Scope MATLAB Test Automation

In addition to full-stack platform development, there is an opportunity for this role to support and extend MATLAB-based scripting used for test automation and engineering validation workflows.

Candidates who are interested and qualified to take on both software platform development and MATLAB automation support may be considered for expanded responsibilities and increased weekly hours, up to a full-time engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PM and engineering stakeholders to define and scope platform features
  • Implement new functionality within the StrataWorks platform
  • Deploy new builds and maintain the live production environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Support ongoing stability and reliability of the hosted application
  • Maintain and manage source code using Git-based workflows

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web applications?, We are seeking a part-time full-stack development contractor to support ongoing development and deployment of our StrataWorks Filter Designer platform. This role is ideal for a self-directed full-stack developer who is comfortable working independently while collaborating with product and engineering stakeholders., * Demonstrated experience in full-stack web development

  • Strong proficiency in:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
  • Experience working with the Django framework
  • Familiarity with deploying and maintaining live web applications
  • Experience with Git/GitHub version control practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned workstreams with limited oversight, * Prior experience supporting production SaaS platforms
  • Experience working in collaborative environments with product or PM teams
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted environments and deployment workflows
  • Experience with Matlab scripting for automation, testing, or data analysis.
