Computer Technician

Opportunity to earn residual income through referring and maintaining clients, and an annual performance-based bonus. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturdays from noon to 4pm. Shifts will be based on current staff needs, approximately 20 hours a week to start.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
• Set up hardware for new systems and install/configure software and drivers
• Perform standard upgrades to ensure systems remain updated such as adding RAM and backing up & replacing hard drives
• Keep detailed records of repairs and fixes on each client's account for future reference
• Create and modify user-facing instructions and internal office procedural documents
• Assist clients in person and over the phone with computer repair and sales inquiries
• Maintain a tidy work space and customer sales floor
• Enter work orders and receive customer payments through QuickBooks POS
• Create labels, price tags, and signs for floor merchandise
• Receive shipments of merchandise and product orders
• Answer phone calls in a polite and professional manner
• Greet customers on the sales floor in a friendly, professional manner and assist them with their wants and needs

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Van driving?, We are looking for a qualified Computer Technician to repair computers and other devices in-person as well as to troubleshoot problems over the phone and remotely via screen sharing software. The ideal candidate works diligently and accurately without strict supervision. He or she must possess a great problem-solving ability in order to identify and fix basic and advanced technical issues., * Proven experience as a computer technician for 2+ years

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Very good verbal and written communication abilities
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+ or MCSE) will be an advantage
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (some onsite travel to clients in company van required)
• Clean, well-groomed appearance
