Job description
NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our talented team supporting Federal mission systems. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience developing secure, scalable applications across the .NET and Java technology stacks. This role requires a developer who can work across the full software development lifecycle - from design and development through deployment and support - while collaborating closely with technical leads, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet Federal performance and security standards., * Develop, test, and maintain web applications and services using C#, .NET Core/Framework, Java, and Spring Boot
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for integration across enterprise systems
- Build and maintain responsive, dynamic front-end applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables
- Support modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native architectures using Azure or AWS
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
- Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement of development processes
- Maintain compliance with federal cybersecurity and quality assurance standards
Requirements
Do you have experience in Version control systems?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET (C#) and Java (Spring Boot)
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and object-oriented design principles
- Proficiency with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- US Citizenship required; must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance
Preferred
- Experience developing applications in a Federal IT consulting environment
- Knowledge of API gateways, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and system integrations across .NET and Java
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and automated testing tools
- Cloud certifications (Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer, etc.)
- Familiarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST compliance standards
