Job description
Quuppa is seeking a tech-savvy Solutions Engineer to join our Services team in the United State. We are specifically looking for candidate on the East Coast, with a preference for the North Alabama region. The primary focus of this role is to support Quuppa's growth in the designated regions. You will be responsible for assisting with the pre/post-sales activities of Quuppa's indoor positioning solutions. You will also have an important role in contributing or managing selected bid preparations and related activities to our offering. In addition to providing training for Quuppa's different stakeholders about Quuppa's products and installation/integration process, you will perform incident management and troubleshooting as needed, as well as professional services delivery. Your tasks can include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and develop technical presentations to introduce our company's products or services to customers.
- Determine customers' needs and propose solutions to meet all necessary requirements.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
- Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Provide Quuppa onsite services.
- Provide training and produce supporting materials for the sales team.
- Provide after-sales support services.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Linux support?, Our ideal candidate is a customer-oriented professional who is self-motivated, hands-on, and organized. You should be capable of following up and completing complex tasks, comfortable asking questions. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to gain an in-depth knowledge of Quuppa and partners' products and should be able to translate such knowledge for non-technical customers. This position required approximately 15-20% travel for onsite professional services, troubleshooting, training and customer engagement. Requirements for the applicant:
- Relevant studies in engineering/technology (university or university of applied sciences)
- Strong hands-on technical background and skill set from studies or previous work experience, for example, in the fields of radio engineering, telecommunications, computer networking, electrical engineering, or computer science
- Linux experience (configuration, troubleshooting)
- Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach to work
- Native speaker in English

- Experience in working with customers as a tech support, sales engineer, and solutions engineer
- Experience in IoT and Real-Time Locating Systems
- Project management skills and experience
- Software development and APIs (REST API, UDP streaming, web server)
- Computer networks and IT infrastructures (TCP/UDP/IP, DHCP, routers, switches, etc.)
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, private cloud)
- Virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Native or professional-level communication skills in other languages, for example, Spanish, Japanese, or Portuguese.
