Job description
We are looking for a Senior System Design Engineer with strong expertise in CyberArk and infrastructure engineering to support and evolve a self-hosted Privileged Access Management (PAM) ecosystem within a large enterprise environment.
This role combines system design, security engineering, infrastructure operations, and automation, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
What you will be doing
System Design & Engineering
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable infrastructure designs
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs and technical design decisions
- Ensure systems meet security, performance, and scalability requirements
- Support deployment and implementation of designed solutions
Infrastructure Operations
- Manage and support enterprise Windows and Linux environments
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and capacity management
- Participate in on-call support when required
- Drive operational excellence across production systems
CyberArk & Security Engineering
- Engineer and maintain the CyberArk PAM platform
- Support privileged access management operations
- Strengthen authentication and access control mechanisms
- Contribute to cyber risk mitigation and secure-by-design practices
Automation & Development
- Develop automation using Python and scripting tools (Shell, etc.)
- Integrate systems through REST APIs
- Automate operational and security workflows
- Reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
Incident & Problem Management
- Handle complex infrastructure and security incidents
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Improve system resilience and operational stability
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
Core Infrastructure
- Strong experience with Linux (RedHat) and Windows administration
- Experience with Open Systems and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
Security & Identity
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of IAM and authentication systems
- Knowledge of enterprise security and cyber risk concepts
Automation
- Strong Python scripting skills
- Shell scripting experience
- REST API integration experience
- Automation of infrastructure or security workflows
Operations
- Incident management in production environments
- Backup and recovery understanding
- Root cause analysis (RCA) experience
Nice to have
- PowerShell scripting
- Bladelogic
- CI/CD or build and release pipelines
- Testing and quality assurance experience
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in system, infrastructure, or security engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk in enterprise environments
- Comfortable owning production systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable
- Fluent in English
