Senior Manual Tester

On behalf of our clients operating in the public sector, we are recruiting Senior Manual tester for long-term assignments., As a Senior Manual Tester, you will work in an environment focused on modernizing a monolithic application into a microservices architecture running on Kubernetes, using an API-first and event-driven approach to improve agility, accelerate delivery, and build a more flexible and scalable platform.

Tasks:

• Clarify functional and non-functional requirements
• Execute and document manual tests
• Apply testing methodologies (ISTQB)
• Perform exploratory testing and identify edge cases
• Test from an end-user perspective
• Assess and communicate software quality

• Requirements analysis, manual testing & documentation
• ISTQB methodologies, exploratory testing & edge cases
• Senior QA with Agile/Scrum and BDD (Gherkin) expertise
• Defect management and test case design
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Xray & API testing
• Experience with ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ
• Basic automation skills (Playwright, Selenium)
• Coaching experience in testing
• Proficient in French or Dutch with very good English.
