Senior System Engineer - Infrastructure Hybrid, Security & Automation

Design, operation and further development of the data centre as well as the Azure infrastructure.

• Operation of the Windows Server landscape including Active Directory/Domain Services and GPOs.

• Cross-team collaboration in the Linux world (RHEL).

• Close cooperation with Software Engineering/DevOps and specialist departments. Security & Endpoint Management

• Operation and further development of the Microsoft Defender environment.

• Participation in incident and alert handling (monitoring/SOC).

• Analysis, prioritisation and implementation of measures to strengthen the security situation. Automation & Process Optimisation

• Develop and operate automations with Power Automate, scripting and central task manager platforms.

• Identify, simplify and standardise processes and workflows.

• Support teams in the introduction of new automation workflows. Project work

• Lead and/or participate in infrastructure projects.

• Create concepts, decision bases and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with internal specialist departments and external partners. Strength- and interest-based service package responsibility

• Take over or co-design service packages in the Data Centre Services team (e.g. automation, cloud coordination, identity & policy, security, certificates, e-mail) according to your strengths, interests and development goals., Broad, solid IT know-how and passion for holistic infrastructure topics and modern security technologies, especially Microsoft Defender.

Experience with Azure Infrastructure (compute, networking, IAM/Entra ID, monitoring).

• Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory (ADS).

• Knowledge and motivation for the Linux world (RHEL).
