  • Analyze reliability test data and drive failure root cause investigations.
  • Define reliability requirements and ensure compliance with customer, internal and global standards.
  • Collaborate with process and integration teams to optimize metallization schemes and materials.
  • Support technology development by assessing reliability risks for new processes and design changes.
  • Drive MRB/PCRB (Material/Product Review Board) decisions through comprehensive reliability assessments integrating inline metrology, electrical testing and reliability data.
  • Own reliability-related design rules and models within PDK releases.
  • Continuously enhance reliability methodologies, models, and simulation approaches, leveraging AI-assisted techniques.

  • Solid programming skills (Phyton, VBA or similar).
  • Familiarity with physical failure analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of reliability simulation and modeling tools.
  • Understanding of customer qualification requirements and standards (e.g., JEDEC).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and structured working approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1); German is a plus., * Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or foundry environment.
  • Experience in advanced technology nodes (<90 nm) and related applications (e.g., embedded NVM, RF, analog/mixed-signal, HV/BCD).
  • Hands-on experience with EDA-based EM/IR (Electromigration / IR-drop) analysis and sign-off methodologies including mission profile analysis.
