Responsibilities: Design and develop cloud-native backend services using Java (Mainline) and Spring Boot on a Cloud Foundry-based PaaS platform. Deploy and manage applications across data centers (CRZ & CnRZ) and Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Work with Kubernetes/CaaS for containerized and stateful workloads when required. Implement scalable data solutions using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and object storage technologies. Build and integrate REST APIs via API Gateway and implement asynchronous messaging with Kafka and RabbitMQ. Ensure secure communication (WAF) and contribute to modern observability practices using Splunk, Grafana Cloud (OpenTelemetry), and Icinga. Contribute to a scalable microservices architecture following cloud-native best practices.

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer (German Speaker) with 5+ years of experience to join a new cloud-native project in a complex enterprise environment., Must Have Skills: 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer Strong experience with Java Solid experience with Spring Boot Hands-on experience with MongoDB Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ Experience working in microservices architectures Understanding of distributed systems At least B2 German Level Nice to Have: Experience with Hexagonal Architecture Experience in cloud-native environments (Cloud Foundry / Kubernetes) Experience in financial or accounting systems We positively value all work or study experience abroad.
