About the role Are you passionate about SAP security, access governance, and compliance? We are looking for an experiencedSAP Security & Authorizations Specialistto join our team and play a key role in protecting and optimizing our SAP landscape. In this role, you will drive best practices in user access management, strengthen compliance controls, and ensure secure and efficient access to critical business systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of SAP security, governance, and business enablement, helping shape and improve access management processes across the organization. Responsibilities Role Design and Maintenance Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs) to design and implement role-based access rights. Maintain and evolve SAP role definitions and permission sets as business needs change. User Access Management Administer SAP user accounts, roles, profiles, and authorizations. Manage role assignment and removal processes in line with organizational policies. Collaboration and Support Partner closely with IT teams, SAP CoE, and functional experts to resolve access-related issues. Support and guide end users regarding access management processes and policies. Audit Management Manage and resolve audit-related topics for the applications within scope. Design, document, and test internal controls related to user access. Ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented when required. Security Compliance Perform regular access reviews and security audits to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Monitor and report security incidents related to user access. Evaluate and prioritize new security and access management requirements. Documentation and Reporting Maintain clear documentation of access management processes, role designs, and security policies. Produce regular reports and insights on access metrics and compliance status for management. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve user access management processes and implement best practices. Stay up to date with SAP security trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance access governance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorizations. Proven experience in user access management, role design, and SAP security audits. Strong knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC) concepts. Experience managing SAP user accounts, roles, profiles, and authorizations. Familiarity with key SAP security transaction codes such as SU01, PFCG, SUIM, ST03N. Experience designing and implementing internal access controls. Understanding of ITGC, SOX, and GDPR compliance frameworks. Experience supporting internal and external audits. Ability to implement Segregation of Duties (SoD) mitigation controls where conflicts exist. Fluent English.
