In addition, the role may support broader enablement topics such as citizen development guidance, governance contribution, training, and platform evolution, but these are supporting expectations rather than the core purpose of the role.ResponsibilitiesLow-Code DevelopmentDesign and build scalable low-code solutions using Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) for the use cases managed by the squad.Create reusable components, templates, and patterns for common business needs.Develop complex workflows and integrations that connect business processes, while contributing to use case assessment and helping determine the most suitable Power Platform approach based on business value, technical feasibility, and governance constraints.Ensure solutions follow best practices for performance, security, and maintainability, while supporting the delivery process through testing, deployment, and handover as needed.Supporting Expectations - Citizen Developer GuidanceEmpower Champions and, in collaboration with the IT partner.Optimise platform performance and work with the IT partner to help resolve technical issues, recognising that technical configuration and licensing decisions remain IT-owned and that this role can influence them only indirectly.Support feature scouting by evaluating new Power Platform features and capabilities relevant to squad delivery needs.Coordinate with IT on platform updates, integrations, technical dependencies, licensing considerations, and enterprise alignment.Integration & ScalabilityDesign integrations between Power Platform and enterprise systems (SharePoint, Dataverse, APIs).
Requirements
Ensure solutions can scale from tactical fixes to enterprise-grade applications when needed.Bridge low-code solutions with broader ScaleOS and automation capabilities.Identify whether a use case should be solved with Power Platform, require additional enterprise integration, or transition from low-code to pro-code development.Must-Have CompetenciesExpert-level experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI). Strong understanding of Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.Experience designing and implementing Power Platform governance and security.Proficiency in building complex workflows, custom connectors, and integrations.Knowledge of Power Platform ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and DevOps practices.Understanding of API integrations and data connectivity patterns.Supporting Expectations / Nice to HaveMicrosoft certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600). Experience with Copilot Studio and AI Builder.Background in traditional software development (.NET, JavaScript). Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit.Knowledge of other low-code platforms (Appian, OutSystems, Mendix). Experience in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, life sciences), with awareness of compliance, data protection, and Responsible AI expectations.Core Enabling SkillsAbility to provide practical guidance to Citizen Developers when needed.Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for business users.Patient and supportive approach when working with non-technical colleagues.Proactive problem-solver with a service-oriented mindset.Ability to balance governance requirements with business agility needs.Ability to provide practical judgment during use case assessment and to advise stakeholders across the delivery process, while keeping hands-on solution development as the primary focus of the role.What do We offerPermanent contract.Flexible Schedule.
