Job description
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping and evolving the CRM ecosystem of the Postcode Lottery. You'll take technical ownership of complex Salesforce solutions, guide architectural decisions and help build scalable, future-proof CRM capabilities across multiple countries.
Working with international teams, you'll combine deep Salesforce expertise with a strong engineering mindset to deliver modern CRM solutions that directly support the charities we fund. You will operate across the international CRM organisation and value streams, while your direct line management remains within the local country organisation.
This is an international role, which means occasional travel to other Postcode Lottery offices may be required.
What you'll do
- Take end-to-end ownership of Salesforce and Braze solutions across our international CRM landscape, including architecture, integrations, data modelling and platform scalability.
- Design and develop modern CRM solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, middleware and event-driven integration patterns.
- Define and improve engineering standards across the CRM domain, including CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, release management, governance and platform quality.
- Act as a technical advisor and coach for engineers, Product Owners and stakeholders within an international matrix organisation.
Requirements
- You have significant experience in a Senior Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Technical Lead or CRM Engineering role, with deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, Flows and Salesforce data modelling.
- You combine strong front-end and backend engineering capabilities, including experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, APIs, integrations and modern software engineering practices.
- You have experience working in complex international environments and understand scalability, governance, security, data privacy and maintainability within multi-country CRM platforms.
- You proactively identify risks, improvements and long-term opportunities, communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and take ownership to drive change.
