Job description

We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Graphic Design Assistant to support our marketing team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in social media management and visual content creation. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence across various digital platforms, engaging with our audience, and producing eye-catching graphics that align with our brand identity. A strong understanding of public relations and social media strategies is essential to succeed in this role., * Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

  • Create compelling visual content, including graphics, banners, and infographics, tailored for different social media channels.
  • Manage daily social media activities, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages.
  • Support the organisation of online events or promotions to boost brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual style across all digital content.
  • Assist with public relations initiatives by engaging with online communities and managing media relations as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Social media management?, * Prior experience or coursework in social media management is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva is essential.
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in public relations or community engagement is a plus but not mandatory. This role offers an excellent platform for aspiring digital marketers or graphic designers to gain practical experience while contributing creatively to our organisation's growth.
