Job description

  • Provide third-line support across SharePoint, Azure, web, SSO and SQL Server environments
  • Manage and optimise global server and platform estates, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Design and maintain SharePoint farms, web infrastructure and Azure cloud services in line with best practice
  • Troubleshoot complex escalated incidents and deliver deep-dive technical resolution
  • Oversee deployments, upgrades, migrations and platform enhancements across enterprise systems
  • Support DR, load balancing and HA solutions across infrastructure services
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver continuous service improvements
  • Create documentation, automation scripts (PowerShell), and improve operational processes

Requirements

  • Strong experience administering SharePoint, web platforms, SSO and SQL Server environments
  • Proven background in SharePoint migrations, upgrades and performance optimisation
  • Knowledge of SQL Server HA/DR solutions (Always-On, clustering, replication, log shipping)
  • Experience with Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, Kubernetes, Azure SQL desirable)
  • Understanding of load balancing and web farm infrastructure (F5 BigIP desirable)
  • Ability to build environments, automate tasks and develop PowerShell scripts
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement abilities
