Senior ServiceNow Developer

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Develop and support custom solutions using:

• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• UI Policies
• Script Includes
• UI Actions
• ACLs
• Scheduled Jobs

• Configure and enhance ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Design and implement complex workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Engine.
• Develop and support ServiceNow Mobile Applications.
• Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.

CMDB & Service Configuration Management

• Design, implement, and maintain CMDB architecture and data models.
• Define and manage Configuration Item (CI) relationships and service mapping structures.
• Establish and enforce CMDB governance, data quality standards, and lifecycle management processes.
• Support discovery and service mapping initiatives to improve configuration data accuracy.

Integration Design & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal/external systems.
• Build and support REST and SOAP-based integrations.
• Implement both inbound and outbound integration solutions.
• Design and implement integration architectures including:

• Synchronous integrations
• Asynchronous integrations
• Event-driven integrations

• Utilize Integration Hub, Spokes, and MID Servers to deliver scalable integration solutions.
• Develop robust data transformation and mapping logic for JSON and XML payloads.
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between systems.

Monitoring & Support

• Implement integration monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term remediation recommendations.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and solution designs.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, platform administrators, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in solution design workshops and technical reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow best practices across the team.

Essential

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development and scripting.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Extensive experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CI relationships, service mapping, and governance.
• Experience developing and supporting ServiceNow Mobile Applications.
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Integration Hub
• ServiceNow Spokes
• MID Servers

• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, data mapping, and transformation techniques.
• Experience implementing integration monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks.
• Strong JavaScript development skills within the ServiceNow platform.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Experience integrating with cloud platforms, ERP systems, monitoring tools, and identity management solutions.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
