Job description

  • Manage data integrity, collection, reporting and presentation of required statistics, to monitor performance of the services across the footprint.
  • View data objectively, with respect to reporting trends and themes, and to present and relay information in a usable and logical format to services and external partners.
  • Provide leadership in the implementation, use and maintenance of electronic systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring activity recording is factual and correct.
  • Produce data quality reports from the reports available to the service and share with relevant pathway leads.
  • Hold monthly workshops and performance meetings to go through data quality and recording issues with pathway leads.
  • Support the services with data flow and process mapping for any reporting requirements, keeping clear documentation to be shared with the teams for any changes/updates or new starters.
  • Support the Performance Lead with any additional duties as requested., * Communicates effectively providing clear, succinct information to services within all communications using relevant technologies available.
  • Provide effective and supportive feedback to clinical and administrative workforce where reporting data quality issues escalating any concerns where necessary.
  • Develop, update, and maintain process maps and user guides for the service so that processes are easy to follow and accountability for specific actions are clear.
  • Responsibility for the line management of the Information Quality Assistant to include recruitment, retention, supervision, support and appraisal.
  • Responsible for the training, development and competencies ensuring personal development plans are updated on a regular basis in accordance with Trust Policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with standards, practice guidelines and Trust Policies and Procedures creating a culture of constant betterment.
  • To be responsible for monitoring non-attendance in line with the Trust Attendance Management policy including recording of sickness and holidays and the production of absence reports as required.
  • To monitor mandatory training for team.
  • To demonstrate the Trust Values in carrying out the role.

Requirements

We are looking to recruit an experienced Data/Information Analyst to join the Specialist Services Care Group Performance Team. The post requires a highly motivated individual with excellent organisation and communication skills, and the ability to plan their own work and that of their team. Attention to detail is a must, as is flexibility and knowledge of NHS priorities and reporting requirements.
