Your core duties will include:
- Guiding and Coaching: Leading the scrum teams in the effective adoption of Scrum and Agile practices, focusing consistently on outcomes and client value.
- Removing Impediments: Identifying and eliminating roadblocks to team progress, allowing developers and designers to focus on delivering their sprint goals.
- Team Empowerment: Coaching and empowering cross-functional teams to become self-managing, collaborative, and capable of maintaining a sustainable pace.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Building a shared understanding between developers and Product Owners regarding goals, scope, and the product domain.
- Backlog & Planning Support: Assisting Product Owners with effective backlog management, refinement techniques, and product planning facilitation.
- Event Facilitation: Facilitating Scrum events effectively whilst respecting timeboxes, and driving cross-organisation collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement: Creating a transparent environment where conflict is handled healthily, and collaborating with fellow Scrum Masters to optimise cross-team processes.
Requirements
- Technical Team Leadership: Proven experience acting as a Scrum Master within a technical or software development environment.
- Coaching Expertise: Demonstrated experience coaching both individuals and multi-disciplinary teams to realise their full potential.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and facilitation skills.
- Attributes: A proactive, curious, and courageous approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to and drive positive change.
- Right to Work: Full eligibility to live and work in the UK is required (sponsorship is not available for this role). Successful candidates will also undergo a basic DBS check.
