Job description
Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our Central Government client in seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an initial six-month assignment.
Location: Milton Keynes | Hybrid
The ideal candidate will hold active SC Clearance and have a proven background in Azure Cloud engineering, demonstrating the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in Azure Services, particularly in building and migrating applications and services to public cloud platforms.
- Expertise in the operation and deployment of DevSecOps tools, along with the development of infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
- A strong understanding of cloud security principles and Zero Trust architectures.
- Familiarity with NCSC, GDS, and UK government security frameworks-such as Secure by Design, Cloud Security Principles, and Government Functional Standards.
- Desirable Qualifications: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and/or Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) would be advantageous.
- Experience in secure environments, particularly within the public sector or defence, is highly advantageous.
