Job description

Johnson Integrations & Shades is a family-owned company specializing in residential electrical work, lighting control, automated shades, networking, audio/video systems, and smart home integration. We work closely with contractors, designers, and high-end residential clients throughout Sonoma County, Napa, San Francisco, and the South Bay.

We are looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in producing clean, high-quality work and values professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.

At Johnson Integrations & Shades, we believe quality and reliability matter most. We are not interested in simply installing systems for profit - we care about building systems that function properly, integrate cleanly, and provide a great long-term experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Run and terminate high voltage and low voltage wiring
  • Work in all phases of construction including rough-in, trim, retrofit, and service work in finished homes
  • Install and configure:
  • Recessed/canned lighting
  • Lighting fixtures
  • Lighting control systems
  • Automated shades
  • WiFi and networking equipment
  • Home theater systems
  • Indoor and outdoor audio systems
  • TVs and entertainment systems
  • Smart home integration systems
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, designers, and team members
  • Accurately document completed work and communicate project updates

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Residential construction?, * Previous experience in low voltage, AV, smart home, or related fields

  • A basic understanding of electrical
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team
  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
  • Clean and professional appearance

  • Residential construction experience
  • Lighting control systems
  • Networking and WiFi systems
  • Audio/video systems
  • Smart home integration
  • Experience with Lutron systems is strongly preferred, but not required
