Job description

Senior SimCorp Dimension Solutions Architect / Investment Technology Lead We are seeking a highly experienced SimCorp Dimension (SCD) expert to lead the optimization, integration, and modernization of a sophisticated investment technology ecosystem. This role combines investment systems expertise, enterprise architecture, and full-stack development to enhance front-, middle-, and back-office operations across a buy-side investment organization.

The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic technology leader, partnering with business and technical teams to drive system enhancements, software upgrades, integrations, testing initiatives, and technology transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, customization, optimization, and support of SimCorp Dimension modules including Fund Accounting, Cash Management, Corporate Actions, and related investment operations functions.
  • Design and manage integrations between SCD and trading, risk, accounting, custody, and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Aladdin).
  • Analyze business requirements, create functional specifications, user stories, and test plans, and support both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Coordinate software upgrades, vendor relationships, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management activities.
  • Develop and implement custom technology solutions using Java, .NET, Python, SQL, APIs, and cloud technologies.
  • Drive enterprise architecture initiatives, process automation, data architecture improvements, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Partner with investment, operations, finance, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension implementation, integration, and support within an investment management environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in:
  • Investment technology and systems analysis within buy-side organizations.
  • Enterprise architecture, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
  • Software development lifecycle, requirements gathering, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Technology transformation, project management, and strategic technology planning.
  • Designing and developing custom software solutions., * Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks, Jira, and source control tools.
  • Industry certifications such as CFA, CPA, FRM, CIPM, or CTP.
  • Experience with investment accounting, performance measurement, risk analytics, and regulatory reporting.
