Job description
As a Principal Consultant, you will be a solution delivery lead, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Cloud Solution for a portfolio of Oracle Cloud ERP customers. Leveraging your expertise in Oracle Datawarehouse Cloud solutions such as OAC, ODI, FDI, BIP, OTBI etc. and solution delivery leadership, you will lead teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet clients' business needs. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams., Project Delivery
- Lead FDI Analytics projects from initiation to completion, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions aligned with client priorities.
- Lead and collaborate with onshore and offshore project team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and strategies.
Client Engagement
- Actively build positive, collaborative relationships with clients to understand their business priorities.
- Advise clients on using Oracle FDI Cloud to meet their business needs regarding Analytics across Oracle HCM, Financials, SCM Cloud modules and CX Modules.
- Identify stakeholders across customer and internal team and perform deep stakeholder analysis including resource backfills and resource contingency planning.
Solution Design
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams, to understand business requirements related to Analytics within Oracle Cloud solutions such as HCM, ERP, SCM, EPM, CX, etc.
- Design end-to-end solutions based on best practices enabled by Oracle FDI Cloud modules to meet business objectives and analytics requirements.
- Lead the implementation of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) across Oracle Cloud solutions such as HCM, ERP, SCM and CX, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution architecture, configurations, and integrations.
- Ensure that documentation is accessible and understandable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving and Mitigation
- Deep-dive into existing and potential problem areas, developing corrective action and mitigation plans.
- Be hands-on when needed to help teams solve problems and achieve successful resolutions.
Continuous Learning and Innovation
- Stay current on market innovations, Oracle FDI Cloud methodologies, tooling, and assets/accelerators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 10 years of Information Technology experience in Oracle or any other Tier 1 ERP application.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering and managing complex implementation of Analytics solution leveraging OTBI, BIP, OAC, ODI & FDI across Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, SCP, EPM, HCM, CX, etc.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Data augmentation, semantic modeling, extending data with custom applications and managing data connections.
- Expertise in building custom subject areas, Data visualizations, Data sets, Data flows and data replication.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a team of Oracle FDI Cloud resources, onshore and offshore.
- Deep experience in implementing FDI for Oracle Financials & SCM Cloud is preferred.
- Full life cycle implementation experience including Design, Configure Test and Deploy phase.
- Experience in design implementation, testing and deploying of Business process controls, automated controls, and IT controls.
- Certifications in Oracle FDI Cloud are preferred.
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud configurations as it relates to the design and development of Analytics in FDI.
- Prior experience with managing Oracle Cloud ERP programs at Big4 or other leading consulting firms is preferred.
- Prior experience with coordinating Oracle FDI projects with Oracle Sales Team, Oracle Support Team, Oracle Customer Success Team is preferred.
- Strong grasp of core data warehouse concept and design paradigms.
- Solid understanding of Oracle's analytics offerings including OAC, OBIEE, OBIA, RPD, Machine Learning and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financial System modules - General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Asset Management also desirable.
- Experience of working with DA scripts and handling Frequent data refresh
- Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols like XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC.
- Experience interfacing with enterprise applications, databases, service layers, and message queues.
- Experience with relational (SQL) & NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms like Oracle, AWS, Google, Azure, Salesforce.
- Strong academic background with hands-on database programming, algorithms, and implementation.
- Desire & ability to work in a team environment and train on new technologies
