Database Engineer

• Design and develop efficient, scalable database solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor database performance, optimize queries, indexes, and schemas for reliability and speed.

Our client, a leading organization in autonomous mobility, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Database Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Database Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization., * Strong understanding of AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for database resources.

• Proven experience as a Database Engineer or DBA, with deep knowledge of DBMSs such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Redshift.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization techniques.
• Solid grasp of data modeling, normalization, and schema design principles.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, monitoring, backup/restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
