Job description
- Design and develop efficient, scalable database solutions aligned to business requirements.
- Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor database performance, optimize queries, indexes, and schemas for reliability and speed.
- Implement and maintain database security controls to safeguard sensitive data.
- Collaborate with application developers to optimize schema designs and SQL queries for enhanced performance.
Requirements
Our client, a leading organization in autonomous mobility, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Database Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Database Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization., * Strong understanding of AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for database resources.
- Proven experience as a Database Engineer or DBA, with deep knowledge of DBMSs such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Redshift.
- Proficiency in SQL and query optimization techniques.
- Solid grasp of data modeling, normalization, and schema design principles.
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, monitoring, backup/restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
