Job description

Kforce's client in Birmingha, AL is seeking a Digital Experience Design Accessibility Analyst to join a collaborative UX and digital product team focused on delivering inclusive, user-centered digital experiences. This individual will partner closely with design, development, product, and testing teams to ensure accessibility and usability standards are integrated throughout the entire digital product lifecycle., The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in accessibility testing and remediation, hands-on experience working alongside development teams, and a strong understanding of ADA and WCAG standards. This role requires both strategic collaboration and technical execution, including code inspection, issue remediation guidance, and accessibility validation across modern web and enterprise applications., * Partner with UX, product, and engineering teams to ensure accessibility is incorporated early in the design and development process

  • Review designs and workflows to identify accessibility risks before development begins
  • Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing for web and enterprise applications
  • Inspect and analyze HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to identify accessibility violations and validate remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve accessibility issues across various technology stacks, including React-based applications
  • Document accessibility findings, requirements, recommendations, and remediation guidance
  • Perform accessibility audits and assist in developing remediation roadmaps
  • Utilize assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack to validate user experiences
  • Advocate for inclusive design best practices and accessibility standards across cross-functional teams
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing related to accessibility methodologies and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant accessibility testing experience
  • Strong understanding of ADA, WCAG, and digital accessibility standards
  • Experience testing web-based or enterprise applications in modern development environments
  • Ability to read, inspect, and analyze front-end code for accessibility compliance
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience working with development teams to remediate accessibility issues
  • Experience using at least one screen reader technology such as NVDA, JAWS, or iOS VoiceOver
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments, * Experience supporting React or single-page application environments
  • Experience with mobile accessibility testing
  • Banking or financial services industry experience
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior accessibility analysts

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
