Analyze, design, and implement migration strategies for legacy mainframe applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to ensure requirements are met throughout the migration lifecycle.
Re-engineer COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe components for cloud compatibility.
Develop and execute test plans to validate migrated systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after migration.
Document technical processes, migration steps, and system architectures.
Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards are maintained during migration.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in mainframe development (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, etc.).
Proven experience with mainframe-to-cloud migration projects.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with tools such as Micro Focus, Blu Age, or similar migration technologies is a plus.
