Job description

Execute the release and deployment process in collaboration with Release Managers, ensuring a consistent and high-quality player experience. Support day-to-day operation of the release pipeline, following established processes to maintain readiness and stability. Coordinate across development, operations, and product teams to ensure releases progress smoothly and on schedule. Assist product teams in following release practices, helping identify and escalate risks that may impact players. Support ongoing improvements to the delivery pipeline, executing on defined process and tooling changes. Engage with technical systems and tooling, monitoring pipelines, investigating issues, and escalating as needed. Collaborate with engineering to implement fixes and improvements for release and pipeline reliability. Reinforce consistent release practices across teams, helping ensure alignment with established standards., Independently scope and deliver projects that improve the product delivery pipeline and release reliability Create, maintain, and execute runbooks for bi-weekly patches and deployments across PC and console Coordinate response to live incidents related to releases, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication Own day-to-day operation of the build and integration pipeline, tracking changes, surfacing risks, and maintaining release readiness Manage build configuration and distribution across environments, ensuring accuracy and consistency Coordinate build delivery to partners, clearly communicating changes, risks, and versioning Drive first-party certification and submission processes, ensuring timelines and requirements are met Track and follow up on RCAs and integration issues, ensuring timely completion and visibility Use tooling, automation, and AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reliability Collaborate with engineering to identify and propose solutions to long-term release and pipeline challenges Collect and report on release KPIs, using data to highlight trends and areas for improvement

Requirements

Release Management or similar experience in PC software development for at least 2 years, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Proven success driving live service issues to resolution, Experience driving complex projects and/or programs to completion across large, diverse teams Technical expertise in CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, P4, GIT), Monitoring (Datadog), and JIRA Nice to Have: 1st Party Tools (Microsoft Partner Center and Playstation Portal) Has done Release Management in games for at least 3 years, Has experience in mobile, and console game development, Previous experience working in a Technical QA or Live Game Production role, 2+ years of experience in Release Management, QA, Live Operations, or similar roles within PC software or live service environments Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development tools (e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Datadog, JIRA) Ability to follow established processes and execute reliably in a live service environment Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately to engineering or senior stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience coordinating across multiple teams in an operational setting

Preferred Experience: 3+ years of experience in Release Management or related roles (e.g. Technical QA, Live Operations, DevOps) within PC software or live service environments Release Management experience in mobile, and console with crossplay or cross progression features.
