Software Engineer, Platform - Seattle, WA, USA

The Software Engineer, Platform is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services that support key business functions such as payments, subscriptions, analytics, text-to-speech processing, and external API integrations. This role contributes significantly by ensuring scalable and robust backend infrastructure that enhances product performance and user experience. 3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs including text-to-speech, payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking

• Manage and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability

• Collaborate on B2B solutions focusing on enterprise client customization and integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience

• Proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency and impact

• Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployment

• Preferred proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• United States based salary range: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock options depending on experience
