Job description
- Design, deploy, and maintain software infrastructure in both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments, adapting to customer classification requirements (IL2-IL6).
- Serve as the engineering point-of-contact for application delivery, including performance monitoring, issue escalation, and resolution.
- Ensure all infrastructure solutions comply with government and industry security mandates; maintain working knowledge of applicable frameworks (NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP).
- Partner with cybersecurity resources to document security controls, support IATT and ATO processes, and provide audit metrics.
- Configure and administer cloud accounts and organizational structures (projects, IAM, networking) within IL4/IL5/IL6 environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized workloads, including AI/ML application components, using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support data pipeline configuration and integration with services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, or Dataflow where applicable to the deployment environment.
- Implement and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery configurations in accordance with government and industry standards.
- Contribute to DevSecOps pipeline setup and maintenance within government cloud and on-premises frameworks.
- Manage competing customer priorities independently, escalating risks, constraints, and blockers to appropriate stakeholders
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field)
- Experience designing and deploying solutions in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments using tools such as GitLab
- Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Linux administration and command-line tooling
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Prior experience delivering technology solutions in a U.S. government environment, * Master's degree in a technical discipline
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience operating in IL4, IL5, or IL6 classified environments
- Experience supporting software deployments in classified or air-gapped environments
- Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions (e.g., IL4 to IL6)
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and federal ATO processes
- Experience deploying or supporting AI/ML application platforms or LLM-based tools in government environments
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools or software supply chain security (Trivy, Grype, Veracode, Cosign, SBOM generation, or equivalent)
- Experience configuring identity and access management in cloud environments (Okta, AWS IAM, Zero Trust architectures, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with GCP-specific services (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, GKE)
- Experience with U.S. Army technology systems, command and control policies, or Army-specific programs
