As a Senior Systems Engineer-IT, you will:

• Provide systems (server/application/network) administration of the development and production environments

• Perform COTS hardware/software integration, testing and verification

• Support system security activities including vulnerability management, access control and authentication, file system security, system hardening, compliance and auditing

• Support operational site in use of the deployed baseline

• Perform automation development and support activities (Python/Bash/Ansible scripting)

• Documenting defects in discrepancy reports and collaborating with technical team on solutions, Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Virtualization experience

• Linux and Windows systems administration capabilities for configuration and management, package management and software installation, troubleshooting/performance optimization, security support tasks

• Ability to script (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks and workflows

• Ability to perform IT environment hardening/security management, including administration of Trellix

• Security + or CISSP Certifications or other certification that fulfills DOD 8570 requirements

• Active TS Clearance Required to Start

Desired skills

• VMWare/ESXi/vSphere experience

• NetApp experience

• vSAN experience

• Experience implementing and managing STIGs

• Software installations, account management (Active Directory & Group Policy), virtualization, networking, hardware design, procurement and installation, systems engineering, test and verification.
