DevOps Engineer

Montash are supporting a secure public sector programme and are looking to engage a Senior DevOps Engineer on an initial 12-month contract.

You will be joining a highly secure environment, contributing to the build, optimisation and operational support of a large-scale AWS platform. This role is suited to engineers with strong DevOps, automation and cloud platform experience, ideally gained within secure or highly regulated environments., Secure and scalable AWS infrastructure deployments Automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning Containerised platform deployments and operational support Monitoring, alerting and platform reliability improvements Infrastructure documentation and operational procedures Ongoing platform optimisation and automation enhancements

Strong AWS experience across EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC and Redshift Hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience Automation experience using Terraform, Python, Bash and Ansible Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD and automation best practice Previous experience working in secure, regulated or public sector environments would be highly beneficial
