Job description
Responsible for delivering data to business units using standardized data delivery pipelines. Oversees datasets and ETLS connected to iSpot's product suite. Collaborates with operations teams for data access for clean rooms, APIs, and feeds, ensuring seamless data integration. Authors and owns testing plan for assigned projects; identifies patterns in test failures; ensures relevant tests are considered and performed including unit, component, contract, integration, performance and end-to-end. Defines useful metrics and targets for domain; measurably improves process and best practices to achieve goals and objectives; handles on-call responsibilities by confidently navigating alerts and incidents and proactively updates service runbooks or SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures); performs RCA in both standard and non-standard areas; and designs and builds telemetry for issue analysis, including sufficient use case coverage and P1 failures. Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related computer field with 2 years of experience with: SQL; C, Java, or Python; Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server; providing application support; SQL Developer; and AWS. Experience to also include 1 year with: Snowflake; designing and implementing ETL pipelines with Apache Spark (Scala and Java); and Amazon Redshift. iSpot will accept as equivalent a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of progressive related experience. Location: iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. This position is designated to work at our headquarter location in Bellevue, WA, coming in 1-3 days a week, or fully remote at a home office located anywhere in the U.S. Salary Range: $152,911 to $173,680 USD annually. Our compensation packages for full-time roles consist of salary and equity in one of Seattle's hottest start-ups, as well as other standard benefits.
