Job description
Kforce has a client in Miramar, FL that is seeking a strong PowerBI Developer to support a growing suite of reporting. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and data pipelines that provide visibility into delivery performance, capacity, and operational metrics. The PowerBI Developer will partner closely with IT leadership, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making., * Design, build, and maintain scalable reporting solutions for IT delivery (e.g., sprint health, velocity, throughput, SLAs, resource utilization)
- Develop and optimize interactive dashboards using Power BI
- Extract, transform, and model data from multiple sources including Jira and enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
- Create and maintain data pipelines and datasets to support a growing reporting ecosystem
- Partner with delivery leads and product owners to define KPIs and reporting requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting assets
- Provide insights and storytelling around delivery performance trends and risks
- Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation
Requirements
- Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design)
- Hands-on experience working with Jira data (Agile metrics, APIs, reporting structures)
- Experience with Databricks (data engineering, querying, working with large datasets)
- Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.)
- Experience working with IT delivery, engineering, or product organizations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
