SAP Finance Systems Manager

If so, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!, A client of ours in the NY Area area is looking for an experienced SAP Finance Systems Manager, with hands-on FICO experience (strong in CO), who can join their strong SAP/IT team. In this position, you will focus on supporting and enhancing the company''''''''s entire finance and accounting operations within their organization nationwide. This includes being responsible for SAP FICO implementations, as well as having a hand in many other projects and areas of SAP as needed or desired. We are looking for someone who can make significant contributions to the team by way of solutioning ideas, solving pressing business problems and creatively looking for new opportunities to leverage technologies and ideas., As a key management resource, the team will look to you to not only use your expertise to solve problems, but also to work closely with other managers in setting the strategic direction for SAP and to ensure that the organization is leveraging the software to the best possible degree. You will have significant opportunity to work directly with business users and understand their needs and requirements. We are looking for a self-starter who wants to contribute and be heard. In addition, we need someone who can:

• Lead the team that enhances and maintains all finance and accounting functionality.
• Work with the managers of other areas to create long-term plans that align with corporate strategy.
• Create and maintain relationships with outside vendors and consulting partners.
• Manage the department budgets and planning responsibilities.
• Collaborate with your partners in the business to ensure their needs are being met appropriately.
• Lead the work involved in evaluating, selecting, designing and implementing new systems
• Improve internal IT processes related to accurately and efficiently creating end-user capabilities and systems meeting the business''''''''s needs.

• At least ten years of SAP FI and CO experience, including configuration experience.
• Experience with intercompany, currencies, and chargebacks preferred.
• Previous experience in integration to third-party systems.
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience a must and multiple full life cycle implementations required
• A history of planning and executing project work
• Excellent customer/business-facing skills
