Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for resolving incidents escalating to or originating at the Systems Engineer level., * Responsible for administration of the Microsoft computing environment to include but not limited to: *

• Microsoft Domain Administration
• Active Directory
• domain controllers
• Domain Names Services (DNS)
• Troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues
• Basic messaging system administration (e-mail)
• PC and server hardware familiarity including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies) repair/replacement procedures.
• Responding to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system.
• Performing hardware and software System, including patches, upgrades, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability, and serviceability.

• Persons in this position will also be responsible for backup and recovery functions., Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.

Do you have experience in Azure?, Must maintain a current Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification and
• Five to Seven (5-7) years of experience working with the Microsoft computing environment., * High level of familiarity with Microsoft Domain Administration, Active Directory, domain controllers, Domain Names Services (DNS); familiarity with basic network technologies and capable of troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues; basic messaging system administration (e-mail); PC and server hardware familiarity including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies) repair/replacement procedures; respond to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system; perform hardware and software System, including patches, upgrades, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability, and serviceability., As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
