Job description
The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products. The QA Tester works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code. The Tester will design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documentation of software defects, using a bug tracking system, and reporting defects to software developers will be performed. In addition to the above, additional responsibilities include:
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.
- Ensure software product (system or application) meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance required for release.

Requirements
Do you have a valid AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification?, Do you have experience in Usability testing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Security-cleared Professional: Ability to undergo required screening and background checks. Must meet requirements to obtain a government issued clearance.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field is preferred with 3 years of related experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Has experience in QA testing to include debugging, error correction, troubleshooting, designing, and testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with code review.
Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning
