Job description

Assembly Lines Public Utility Health Advocacy Safety Procedures Artificial Intelligence Discounts And Allowances Critical Illness Insurance Employee Assistance Programs, Join a fast-paced assembly team in an industrial manufacturing environment, where you will assemble and package components used in utility pole line equipment. You will work at either the Components Table or the Crossarms Table, performing repetitive but highly important tasks that support safe and reliable utility infrastructure., * Assemble components at the Components Table, such as putting together parts similar to nuts and bolts according to specified requirements.

  • Count, package, and box assembled components to the required quantities with accuracy and consistency.
  • Work independently at the Components Table, maintaining focus, productivity, and quality throughout repetitive tasks.
  • Assemble utility crossarms at the Crossarms Table by attaching components such as brackets, braces, copper wire, and signs to the utility arm.
  • Palatalize completed utility arms and prepare them for shipment to utility customers.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Assist with basic warehouse and production tasks as needed, including moving materials and organizing work areas.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members at the Crossarms Table, typically working as part of a three-person team., Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, for all positions located in the city and county of San Francisco, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Requirements

  • Recent warehouse experience.
  • At least 1-2 months of relevant experience in warehouse, assembly, or production work.
  • Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with general labor in a production or warehouse environment.
  • Capability to work in an assembly line or production setting.
  • Reliability and consistency in meeting production and quality expectations.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse inventory is beneficial.
  • Background in industrial or utility-related manufacturing is a plus.
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a small team.
