Functional Tester

Support the migration of e-Trak modules to Pega by performing functional testing activities. Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and testing procedures based on business and user requirements. Translate user requirements into functional test scenarios and executable test cases. Execute functional testing to ensure applications meet defined quality standards and business requirements. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using Jira and related tools. Support retesting, validation, and regression testing activities following defect remediation. Prepare and maintain required test-level and user-level documentation. Contribute to improving testing efficiency and testing processes across the program. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and applicable reference models. Support program timelines, deliverables, and overall testing objectives within project deadlines.

Bachelor s Degree required Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience required, Jira Foundation Confluence Intermediate Test Case Creation & Management Intermediate Test Case Execution Intermediate, Prior experience supporting IRS or other federal government programs preferred. Experience with Pega migration or modernization projects is a plus. Familiarity with Agile development and testing environments preferred.
