Data Scientist

The Data Scientist will be responsible for contributing to the concept, development, and design of complex algorithms, analytical models, or applications that use product data. They will perform complex analysis work, identify design problems, and resolve issues. This role may involve working with different units, suppliers, customers, and/or other teams, requiring strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities., * Developing data mining processes and tools for engine data collection, aggregation, feature extraction, analytics modeling, and reliability/durability forecasting

• Collaborating with analysts to design, develop, and test predictive and prescriptive analytic algorithms/tools using telematics data
• Identifying opportunities to solve problems within the functional area through the use of analytical models
• Enhancing product performance and efficiency within engine development
• Providing customers with value-added services, recommendations, and optimized solutions for their engines, equipment, and/or job sites

• Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 1-2 years of experience
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience working with various Databases & Cloud Computing
• Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence experience
• Strong proficiency in statistical and analytical methods, ML/AI
• Collaboration and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Master''s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 6 months of internship experience
