Job description
We are seeking a Display Silicon Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware and silicon program execution, cross-functional coordination, and vendor management and a proven ability to translate milestones into actionable schedules and drive programs from development through high-volume manufacturing., * Internal cross-functional coordination with uLED, test, packaging, and sourcing teams, including recurring meetings and program reviews.
- External vendor interface management with foundry and silicon partners, including joint working sessions and milestone reviews.
- Program tracking and reporting with authoritative status trackers, milestone readouts, and decision logs for leadership and stakeholders.
- Risk management through a living risk register, mitigation plans with owners and dates, and concise risk summaries for leadership readouts.
Requirements
- 1-3 years as a technical program manager or equivalent project management in hardware or silicon development.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated coordination across silicon, hardware, test, and packaging teams, converting commitments into schedules with owners and dates.
- Experience with external vendors, contract manufacturers, or foundries.
- Exposure to prototype, qualification, and mass production phases.
- Strong written and verbal communication with experience presenting status and risks to engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical problem-solving with disciplined follow-through in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting semiconductor programs across foundry, OSAT, or silicon vendor interfaces.
- Familiarity with display silicon, uLED, or electro-optical technologies.
- Experience managing programs with multiple external vendors and across time zones.
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet, Jira, or similar program tracking and milestone reporting tools.
- Experience translating engineering status and risk into leadership briefings.
- Experience supporting consumer device programs from prototype validation through mass production.
