This role moves beyond traditional "cloud infrastructure" or "architect" responsibilities-focusing on platform engineering, automation, developer enablement, and governance at scale. You will play a key role in building a self-service cloud platform, establishing standards, and driving operational excellence across AWS and Azure environments.
You will partner closely with CloudOps, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver a centralized DevOps platform capability aligned to our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) strategy.
What You'll Do Platform Engineering & Enablement Design and build a cloud platform that enables self-service infrastructure provisioning Develop standardized, reusable platform components (networking, compute, storage, identity) Enable developers through golden paths, templates, and platform APIs Improve developer experience by reducing friction in provisioning and deployment
Infrastructure as Code & Automation Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform (required) Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules and pipelines Implement GitOps and CI/CD-driven infrastructure delivery Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows
Kubernetes & Modern Platform Services
Design and operate container platforms (EKS ) Support microservices architecture and containerized workloads Integrate platform services such as: o Service mesh (optional) o Secrets management (Vault, native cloud solutions) o Container registries (ECR ) o ArgoCD & Github actions
Platform Observability & Reliability (SRE Practices) Implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks o AWS CloudWatch-Datadog Define and track SLIs / SLOs / SLAs Participate in incident response and on-call rotations Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement
