Job description
We are looking for a skilled Tableau Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the Tableau environment. The candidate will be responsible for server administration, user management, security implementation, performance tuning, and supporting business reporting needs., * Administer and maintain Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud environment.
- Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security policies.
- Monitor server performance, usage, and system health.
- Perform upgrades, patches, migrations, and backup/recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot Tableau dashboards, extracts, subscriptions, and server-related issues.
- Configure authentication methods such as SSO, Active Directory, and SAML.
- Optimize Tableau workbooks and server performance.
- Collaborate with business and BI teams for dashboard deployments.
- Maintain governance standards and documentation.
- Support scheduling, data refreshes, and automation processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Tableau Server Administration.
- Knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud.
- Experience with Windows/Linux server environments.
- Understanding of SQL, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with user management and security configurations.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting) is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tableau Certification preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure.
- Knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow, or ticketing tools.
