VMware System Engineer (TS/SCI Sponsorship!)

Apex Systems has an Immediate Need for an VMware System Engineer at Ft. Bragg, NC !! This will be an "est. 6 Month Contract to Permanent Hire" opportunity, supporting one of our Largest DoD / Government Clients on the East Coast & Nationwide! Please See Below for all Position Details & How To Apply., As a Systems Engineer Advisor you will help manages design of server and application architectures.

• Manages the administrative operation and maintenance of server hardware and software.
• Maintains system security and establishes practices and procedures, monitors usage statistics and logs, monitors and remedies attempts to penetrate or corrupt server files.
• Develops baseline configurations and directs modification of configuration settings.
• Develops troubleshooting and incident response procedures.
• Troubleshoots system related problems. Provides team leadership and guidance to less experienced administrators.

Secret Security Clearance ( Top Secret Clearance / SCI Upgrade Offered)

• Security+CE
• System Engineer Level Experience
• Strong Experience with Server Virtualization (VMWare and/or Microsoft Hyper-V)
• Experience with Automation/Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Puppet, Chef, ansible, etc.)
• Security Experience (RMF/NIST, DISA STIG, ACAS/Tenable/HBSS/ESS, or Similar)
• SCCM/MECM Experience is a "Nice to Have"
