Sr. Software Engineer (Operational Systems Team)

• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design extensible architectures focusing on performance and security
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from design to implementation
• Ensure high service availability and observability with robust logging and alerting
• Uphold strong engineering standards through code reviews and mentorship
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives
• Lead technical design reviews and initiatives for system resilience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8-12 years of software engineering experience with expertise in backend systems (Node.js, PostgreSQL)
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering scalable production systems
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical reviews
• Strong systems thinking to evaluate tradeoffs in performance and maintainability
• Experience designing for observability and operational excellence
• High comfort level operating in ambiguity and influencing stakeholders
